As Covid-19 infection was taking thousands of lives, the use of masks was an essential part of the whole society to control the situation. Masks must be used, stored, cleaned, and disposed of properly to be as effective as possible.This message needed to be transferred to the society as we care about the lives of people.

A creative idea was generated and made into action by Sri Lanka Insurance to spread this message widely around social media.

Masks are important to stop the spread of diseases like Covid-19 and save lives. Governments began making stronger recommendations for what people ought to wear masks for daily activities to control the spread of Covid-19. People should be informed and motivated to wear masks in every situation, especially when they are in public. 

How did it happen?

An animated creative video was created with a BEE FAMILY who asks the audience to wear masks when they are going out to see their relatives. The video was published and shared viral on social media. The viral video was created during the Aurudu season, in which Sri Lankan people are engaged in visiting their relatives widely.
